Berghuette Kraterblick in Steinheim am Albuch

Delicious food, homemade. Recommendable. It was quite a hustle and bustle. Nice service. Prices a little too high for self-service.

We celebrated our wedding in the Kraterblick mountain hut last weekend. From the organization, the process, the food, the drinks to the service and the staff, everything was excellent. We have only received positive feedback from all of our guests. It was perfect all round. I can only praise Ms. Maier and her family, it couldn't have been better. In addition, the price / performance ratio is really excellent. I can recommend the location Kraterblick and the Hotel-Gasthof zum Kreuz to everyone. Many thanks again to the Maier family and the entire team.

This is a wonderful view over the valley, good food and relaxation now in the corona time.

In a very nice beer garden with plenty of space and a wonderful ambience. Nice playground, the children would be tidy and happy. The food was okay too, I think the prices are a bit too high as there is no service at the seat or self-service. Will go back for sure

Great cabin right in the center of the impact point on the hill. Enjoy your meal. Nice terrace. A little increased prices, as the portions were a bit small. Nevertheless, a great destination on foot, by bike or even as we with the motorcycle. Definitely worth seeing.

Fantastic location, but you'll have to walk to get there, there's no way to drive or park. Food is pretty good, with big portions. Decent selection, both savoury and sweet, hot and cold. Service is ok, could be a bit more friendly, but the location and views make you forget that easily!

Hüttenzauber on the Swabian Alb. Gorgeous panorama. Ideal for small hiking trips, not only on weekends, also on weekdays an absolute insider tip. Sun loungers for sunbathers, just like on a mountain pasture. Parking at the Sontheim Wirtshäusle. The hike to the hut takes about 40 minutes on paved dirt roads, also well feasible with prams etc.
